Working Groups
The following working groups will convene to advance the work of the P-16 Partnership over the next two years based upon the following three criteria:
- Research: Research on P-16 alignment has identified the objective as an effective way to enhance the preparation of preK-12 students for postsecondary success.
- Partner Feedback: Representatives of the P-16 Partner organizations indicated through feedback gathered this summer that they believe the objective is of long-term importance to students and the state, is aligned with their own organizational priorities and can result in substantive improvements within a two-year timeframe.
- Alignment With Other Efforts: A P-16 working group can meaningfully contribute to and benefit from educational improvement efforts that will be taking place in Minnesota or across the nation between 2007 and 2009.
